The centerless grinding machines are indeed the specialty of the Italian company since the 1960’s. They, therefore; make up the main activity of Ghiringhelli. Previously, the Italian brand manufactured especially different machines dedicated to turning operations. Founded in 1921 by Giuseppe Ghiringhelli and Mario Pisoni, the company introduced its first grinding machine in 1935. Few years, after World War II, Ghiringhelli signed the first exporting operations of machine tools, and thus gradually gained a truly international scope. The Ghiringhelli company continued its evolution, sustaining an approach based on technological progress, the experience and the competence of a highly qualified personnel. Having obtained the ISO 9001 certification in December 2000 and the "Premio Internazionalizzazione" (Internationalisation Prize) three years later, Ghiringhelli is today a leader in the manufacturing of advanced technology CNC centerless grinding machines.
