Launched in 1958, the
BIGLIA company is now the Italian leading manufacturer of
CNClathes and digital control turning centers. Located in the Piedmont town of Incisa Scapaccino, halfway between Turin and Genoa, the company initially built its reputation around the production of
saw machines and special machines during its early years of activity. Over the decades and its development, BIGLIA imposed itself on the local market and has internationally gained notoriety by proposing its first series of automatic lathes (HRA 65 model launched in 1964), its first automatic turret along with the launching of the model B110 in 1978, the integration of the first gantry robot feeder (B 130 lathe in 1980) - and thus the advent of CNC programming with the brand - or the production of special lathes for the automotive industry since the mid 1980s. With its 160 employees, BIGLIA can now boast about having produced nearly 5,500 copies of CNC lathes over a total number of machines manufactured exceeding 10,000. The rich catalog of BIGLIA includes, among others, various models of digital control turning centers.
